The Greek Etruscan collection was born with the black and gold Greek Bracelet, a tribute to the Etruscan city of Arezzo, the birthplace of designer Francesca Bianchi.
The inspiration comes from the colors and decorations that the Etruscans in Arezzo used to create ancient terracotta vases. The peculiarity of these vases was their color, not red terracotta like common vases, but black with gold decorations.
The oldest marks are found on black vases and date back to the 2nd century BC.
This technique, used to create black or brown vases, is called "bucchero."
The golden representations reproduced on the black terracotta were already geometric in inspiration and told the myths and stories of the Etruscan people and beyond.
Thus, the entire Greek Etruscan parure and collection came into being.
