Made in Italy in jewelry

Francesca Bianchi Design was founded to revive the models created by her grandfather Loris Franco Bianchi, and to revisit them in a modern key, in bronze, brass, and copper, plated in 24-karat gold. Made in Italy jewelry of high Arezzo craftsmanship, all strictly handmade, as the local tradition dictates. A quality of yesteryear, which is and always will be the flagship, along with design, of this young and determined brand.

What it means to produce artisan jewelry

For the Arezzo-based fashion house Francesca Bianchi Design, producing artisan jewelry, in addition to manually creating the jewelry, means above all creating the enamel colors internally, of high quality, and applying them always by hand. This characteristic is fundamental: it is a very important process, which represents the true craftsmanship and originality of the brand. Very few in the sector can boast of having their own secret recipe for each color, created entirely to always lead back to the same shade. Everything is produced at the moment, weighing each component to the milligram; this is so that the enamel can remain shinier and more durable over time. For larger surfaces, brushes are used to apply color to the jewelry, just like in painting.
Once the enameling is finished, the jewels are placed in a specific high-temperature oven; this step will allow the enamel to become homogeneous and brilliant. This process, which lasts about an hour, is also monitored by the artisans, because if there are imperfections or bubbles, the product is promptly taken back and corrected.

Once baked, the products must be kept still for 24 hours so that they cool and the colors stabilize. This step is also fundamental, because it affects the longevity of the enamel, which thus remains brilliant and long-lasting over time. Each jewel also adheres to different enameling times, tools, and techniques, as the size and shape influence the procedures to be used.
"It's an art, like painting a picture," Francesca Bianchi emphasizes, describing how her creations are born. A mixture of high contemporary design and craftsmanship rich in history and tradition. Each piece is therefore unique, and this is where its beauty and value lie. Furthermore, thanks to "made on demand," the Arezzo-based company can satisfy customers with high customization requests, engravings, in addition to always being available for any needs of its customers.
